EXECUTIVE CONSULTANT
Peter Spink is a retired Royal Air Force Engineer (1976–1998), Wellbeing Coach, Suicide Prevention Advocate, and the Co-Founder & CEO of Space to Talk Charity. With over 22 years of dedicated RAF service, Peter built a strong foundation of resilience, leadership, and technical expertise, which he has since carried into his professional and community work.
Following his military career, Peter developed wide-ranging experience as a Recruitment Manager, Expedition Leader, and Sub-Aqua Diving Instructor, roles that reflect his ability to guide, support, and inspire people in diverse and often challenging environments.
Through Space to Talk Charity, Peter has championed accessible mental health support in the community, creating initiatives such as Walk and Talk sessions, wellbeing walks, and specialist veteran projects. His work focuses on tackling stigma, preventing suicide, and ensuring that support is available to those who need it most. He is also actively involved in supporting documentary productions and the performing arts, using creative platforms to raise awareness and encourage open conversations around mental health and wellbeing.
Peter's dedication has been recognised with the Rose of Northampton Award, reflecting his significant contribution to improving mental health and wellbeing locally.
Alongside his charity leadership, Peter proudly serves as a Public Governor for Northamptonshire Healthcare NHS Foundation Trust (NHFT), ensuring the voices of local people are represented and championed at board level.
A professional member of the Institute of Administrative Management (MinstAM) and the Institute of Training and Occupational Learning (MinstTA), Peter combines lived experience, professional expertise, and a lifelong commitment to service. Whether through coaching, advocacy, or community initiatives, he continues to make a meaningful and lasting impact in the lives of others.
