The short film was shot on location over three days in Brighton and London in October and November 2025. Since most of the action takes place at night, the winter schedule was chosen to make best advantage of shorter daylight hours.
To ensure the accurate representation of mental ill health on screen, Peter Spink, the founder of the Space 2 Talk mental health charity, was invited onto the production as Executive Consultant.
The scene depicting Grayson’s suicide attempt is not a visual effect. The production enlisted the services of stunt coordinator Justin Pearson who devised a rig to enable Paul O’Neill to stand safely on the opposing side of the handrail.
